From Brooklyn-based artist and designer Liz Collins comes this attention-grabbing beach towel. Woven in Austria from 100% cotton terry in eye-popping hues of red and blue, the “Cracked” Towel boasts a dynamic pattern inspired by the fractures of a broken mirror. The cracked pattern started out as a drawing, then turned into an embroidery prototype that was translated into a textile. The Liz Collins Cotton “Cracked” Beach Towel measures 71l x 40”w. Machine wash warm, tumble dry low. Wash before using.
Collins’ work will be featured in the MoMA exhibition Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern Abstraction, on view April 20 through September 13, 2025.
